Know Your Numbers Heart Healthy Fair |
Heart disease is America’s number one killer, but education can change that statistic. Know Your Numbers helps people determine their risks and learn the importance of a heart healthy lifestyle. North Kansas City Hospital's Cardiac Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, February 9, at Zona Rosa, I-29 and Barry Road.
For only $10, attendees can obtain screenings to assess their risk for a heart attack, including a blood test (fasting recommended) that measures total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides and blood sugar, and also receive heart healthy information and giveaways for everyone who attends.
