North Kansas City Hospital President and CEO David Carpenter received the Director of the Year Award from the North Kansas City Business Council at the group’s annual Christmas Reception and Auction. Carpenter, who served as Board President from 2002 to 2003, has been a Board member since 1999 when he joined the Hospital’s staff. The North Kansas City Business Council is a membership-based organization that promotes business in the North Kansas City area.

Carpenter also serves on the Board of Directors of the Missouri Hospital Association (MHA), as chair of the Legislative Advisory Council for MHA and is the current chair of the Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce.
