Customer service opportunities
If being around people is your idea of enjoyable work, North Kansas City Hospital has opportunities in many areas. Volunteers guide and/or transport visitors, answer phones and direct patient information calls. They also deliver flowers and mail to patient rooms, as well as assist families in waiting areas.

Support opportunities
If you prefer staying out of the public eye, volunteer for our support services. Many departments, not to mention our administrative offices, utilize volunteers to assist with day-to-day functions, such as compiling patient charts, copying, filing and typing. Some tasks are department-specific, such as stocking shelves in the pharmacy.

Special duties
We make every effort to place volunteers in situations that fit their skills and desires. If you have a skill you'd like to use, please let us know and we will do what we can to find the perfect opportunity for you.
