North Kansas City Hospital provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic radiology services. Our patients can be comforted in knowing their radiology images are being read by sub-specialty trained and board-certified radiologists.

Our facilities provide high-tech testing by an experienced staff. Our Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS) stores, shares and displays digital images. PACS eliminates the need to transport and store film, and allows healthcare providers to access diagnostic images in a highly efficient manner from almost any location using secure, web-based software.

• Nuclear medicine –- very small amounts of radioactive materials create an image of the body, its organ functions, and structure for diagnostic and treatment purposes
• Therapeutic radiology (radiation oncology) applies radiant energy to study, treat and manage cancer and other diseases
• Interventional radiology – various image guided, minimally invasive techniques identify and treat medical disorders without requiring conventional surgery
• Breast Imaging
• Digital Mammography is now available for both screening and diagnostic studies
• Bone densitometry
