Briarcliff Medical Associates, PC is actively looking for a BC/BE internal medicine physician to share hospital and clinic care.

Established over 40 years ago, Briarcliff is a primary care clinic with four Family Practice physicians, four Internal Medicine physicians, and two Nurse Practitioners. Overall patient volume at the clinic averages 230 patients each day, including more than 250 new patients per month. The internists see hospitalized patients for most of the physicians in the clinic; however, Dr. Stanley continues to round on his own patients.

The Briarcliff Medical facility consists of 36 exam rooms, a procedure room, nurse triage station, private physician offices, two reception areas, radiology area, and a lab draw station.

Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and urgent care on Saturday beginning at 8:00 a.m. All physicians share 24-hour call, seven days a week. The internal medicine physician call rotation is 1:4 with no outpatient call when not on hospital duty.

This is a very successful practice, both financially and in patient satisfaction. The physicians participate with most HMOs and PPOs. The clinic’s payer mix is 3% HMO, 60% PPO, 29% Medicare and 8% self pay and indemnity insurance plans.

The practice is located in the Creekwood Medical Complex in the Kansas City Northland area. This location offers easy access to the Kansas City International Airport and is only 8 miles north of downtown Kansas City attractions. Kansas City offers a family-centered atmosphere, including excellent schools, parks and other cultural activities.
